Constructive tools are general purpose tools that can be used for manipulating information, constructing one’s own knowledge or visualizing one’s understanding. In constructive tools, students use technology tools to connect new information to their prior knowledge rather than passively receive information. The constructive tool enables the characteristic of describing learner-centered instruction that allows students to use technology tools to connect new information to their prior knowledge.
