Situating Tool

 ICT as a Situating Tool

Situating tools is the system that situates users in an environment where they may experience the context and the happening. Through this ICT it helps create real live pictures and capture and display the real events that give users feeling as it is happening in that situation.

Part A: Using GraphCal plot the line of graph for the following question

Case 1: y=2x+1

Case 2: y=-2x+1

Case 3: y=4x+1

Case 4: y=4x+2

Case 5:y+6x+2

Case 5: y=6x+4

Case 7: y=4x^2+2x+4

Case 7: y=-6x-4

Part B: Using GeoGebra

Case 1: y=bx+1

Case 2: y=-2x-2

Case 3: y=2x+2

Case 4: y=mx+c

Case 5:y=-6x+6

Case 6: y=-6x+-6

Case 7: y=2x-b

Create or design any 2D shapes using Concepts skills, Process skills and Product skills using GeoGebra. Write down the positive utilities (values) of particular shapes that can be applied in real world context.

Concept Skills:

Process Skills (step by step procedures):

Product Skills: Output / Result

Constructing a square using GeoGebra

  1. Draw point A and B

  1.  Draw a line segment

  1. Draw a line A to B

  1. From point A to B create a circle with center

  1. Mark the point C

  1. From point C to B draw circle with center

  1. From point B to C create a circle with center

  1. Mark the interaction point

  1. From point D to E draw a line

  1. Mark the point F

  1. From F to A draw a circle with center

  1. From point B to A draw a circle with center and mark the intersection point

  1. Join point A,B,C,F and A using polygon
